Berkshire Wind Farm Developer Asks State of Massachusetts to Take Over Project Review
The Berkshire Eagle reports this morning that a developer seeking to build 10 wind turbines on Brodie Mountain in the Berkshires has asked the state to take over review of the project from the town Conservation Commission in Hancock, Massachusetts. Proponents of the Berkshire Wind Power project said that town officials failed to set a public hearing on the project within the required 21 days. State officials have received the request, but have taken no action.
