260 Attend Public Hearing on Cape Wind

The Boston Globe reports this moring on the last night's public hearing for the Cape wind project :

"Passions erupted during a hearing last night on the proposed Nantucket Sound wind farm, as more than 260 people filled a school auditorium to plead their case for and against construction of the project.

While opponents of the 130-turbine park were far more visible -- wearing 'Stop the Steel Forest' T-Shirts and offering attendees tiny flags with skull and crossbones -- supporters appeared to come out quietly, but in just as large a number during the nearly four-hour meeting where more than 60 people spoke."

The Globe also has an article on the opponent's efforts to delay the cape wind farm proposal.
